Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Sexual Health
Those that have same-sex sexual relationships should know there is still the potential for unplanned pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections. Below please find specific information relating to lesbian, gay and bisexual sexual health.
Lesbian and Bisexual Women
The risk of a sexually transmitted infection is generally lower with woman to woman sexual activity. Some infections, such as herpes, are equally high for women who have sex with women and women who have sex with men. STI's such as HIV can still be passed through sexually activity like oral sex or sharing of "toys" (such as vibrators).
